Pacific Northwest Writers' Association presents its

Writing Contest for Unpublished Work-  Be Bold and Enter

  • 12 categories. You can enter multiple categories, but only one entry per category
  • Each entry receives 2 critiques
  • Chance to win cash prizes - First Place ($600), Second Place ($250), Third Place ($150)
  • Cost: $37 per entry for current PNWA members;  $52 per entry for non-members
  • Deadlines for Entries

               - DIGITAL entries must be submitted online by MIDNIGHT Friday, March 1st.

               - PAPER entries must be RECEIVED BY 6PM Friday, March 27th.

    • Winners are selected by an agent or editor attending our conference.
    • Winners will be announced at the PNWA conference.
    • Winners are invited to attend a private reception to mingle with agents and editors during our 2020 conference.

    Added Details

    • Critiques will be sent out for categories 1-11 by August. Category 12, Screen Writing, will not receive critiques.
    • The eight finalists in each category will be notified prior to the PNWA  conference (September 24 - 27, 2020).
    • Finalists who attend the PNWA conference will be given high visibility during the conference.
