Literary Contest

The contest has ended. Finalists will be notified and critiques will be sent out in August. Winners will be announced at the Saturday conference dinner on September 15, 2018.

 
Pacific Northwest Writers' Association
presents its

Literary Contest for Unpublished WorkBe Bold and Enter

  • 12 categories. You can enter multiple categories, but only one entry per category
  • Each entry receives 2 critiques
  • Chance to win cash prizes - First Place ($600), Second Place ($250), Third Place ($150)
  • Cost: $35 per entry for current PNWA members;  $50 per entry for non-members
  • There is a $2 processing fee for digital entries to cover the cost of printing out entries and postage and envelopes for mailing back critiques. 
  • Drop off at the Writers' Cottage (317 NW Gilman Blvd., Ste 2, Issaquah, WA 98027) until 6PM Friday, March 23th  Submit online until MIDNIGHT Friday, March 23rd.

 

DEADLINE: ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY MARCH 23, 2018.

    • Winners are selected by an agent or editor attending our conference.
    • Winners will be announced at the PNWA conference.
    • Winners are invited to attend a private reception to mingle with agents and editors during our 2018 conference.


    Added Details

    • The eight finalists in each category will be notified in July 2018 prior to the PNWA  conference (September 13 - 16, 2018).
    • Finalists who attend the PNWA conference will be given high visibility during the conference.
