2016 Holiday Catalog

Give the Gift of Reading

Have you heard of Iceland's Christmas Eve tradition of giving books? It's a national tradition that kicks off when Iceland Publishers Association mails out their book catalog to every home...for free.  Icelanders cull through the catalog to make purchases that get stowed away until Christmas Eve when families gather around to exchange books. They then spend the rest of the night reading.  What a lovely tradition.

We at PNWA would like to suggest the start of a similar tradition.  Buy a book from a Pacific Northwest author -or better yet many, and give the gift of reading this year.

Happy Holidays!
