Jenna Land Free has worked in book and magazine publishing for over a decade, and her experience covers a wide swath of the publishing world. Her staff roles have included the executive editor for the Ross Yoon Literary Agency and senior editor for the book producer becker&mayer!. Her projects have spanned everything from evaluating fiction to ghostwriting business books and memoir. While working for the book producer becker&mayer!, Jenna ghostwrote John Lennon: The New York Years (Stewart, Tabori, and Chang), and channeled the lost journal of none other than Indiana Jones in a book published by Pocket. Jenna has also worked on book projects with Stan Lee, David McCullough, and Marie Tillman; the estates of Bob Marley, Audrey Hepburn, and Jimi Hendrix; organizations including Disney, Lucasfilm, the Boy Scouts of America, and Heifer International. She lives in Seattle with her husband and two daughters.

Leslie Miller is a veteran of the publishing industry and one of the select few that holds an advanced degree in English and actually uses it. The former senior editor of Seal Press, she is also a published author of many articles, essays, and books, including Ethan Stowell’s New Italian Kitchen, Women Who Eat, and the forthcoming Uncle Dave’s Cow, among others. Her recent freelance editorial and collaborative writing projects include The Custom-Fit Workplace: Choose When, Where, and How to Work and Boost Your Bottom Line (Jossey-Bass); A Moment’s Peace: A Mom’s Guide to Creating Calm Amidst Chaos (Bright Sky); and the award-winning biography Tomaz Humar (Random House UK). Leslie’s writing and editing experience is quite diverse and includes ghostwriting, fiction, blogs, curriculum development, cookbooks, political nonfiction, copy writing, memoir, self-help, biography, how-to, and more. Cofounder of Girl Friday Productions, she teaches workshops and classes on editing and book development. She lives in Seattle with her family.
