PNWA President, PAM BINDER is an award-winning and New York Times best-selling author. Her five romantic fantasy novels were published by Simon & Schuster. She a professor at the University of Washington Extension Program where she teaches Popular Fiction. l

  PNWA Vice President, SANDY McCORMACK holds a master's degree in education and in 2012 finally quit her day job and has devoted her time to writing. Sandy is the association's Literary Contest co-chair and has been fostering and critiquing writers' work for over ten years. l
  PNWA Treasurer, BRIAN MERCER is an award-winning author and has been prominently mentioned in Publisher’s Weekly. He has been featured on numerous international radio shows and is the Senior Editor at Author magazine.

PNWA Secretary,JEFF AYERS is a multi-published author in both non-fiction and fiction. He is a respected and sought after book reviewer for the Associated Press, Library Journal, and more. He has interviewed countless authors for such publications as the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Writer Magazine, Suspense Magazine, and RT Book Reviews.

  PNWA Board Trustee, DARCY CARSON is an award winning author and is currently working on her next novel, a paranormal romance. Darcy is the Literary Contest co-chair and works diligently to ensure each submission receive critical and valuable feedback for their work. l

  PNWA Board Trustee, WILLIAM KENOWER is the author of Write Within Yourself: An Author’s Companion. He is the editor-in-chief of Author magazine and writes a popular blog centered around writing. Bill has interviewed hundreds of authors and is a popular teacher during our conference and workshops. l

PNWA Board Trustee, NICOLE J. PERSUN is an award winning author and amazon bestselling novelist. Nicole began her professional writing career at age sixteen and was most recently invited to deliver the Keynote address at the Whidbey Writers Conference. Aside from novels, she has also written various short stories (in varied genres) and published poetry in literary journals. l

PNWA Board Trustee,TERRY PERSUN is a multi-award winning author and amazon bestselling novelist. He has over a dozen novels and numerous novelas. You can always find Terry teaching writers about craft and what it takes to be a successful author in this ever changing publishing industry. l

  PNWA Board Trustee, DEBORAH SCHNEIDER is an award winning author who's publishing career began when she won the Molly Award for the "most unsinkable heroine" from the Denver Chapter of Romance Writers of America. Deborah works for the King County Library System and was named Librarian of the Year by Romance Writers of America. l
  PNWA Board Trustee, JACQUI SULLIVAN is currently working on her thriller series and launching PNWA's new blog. Jacqui spends her nights writing and days working in the technology industry. She brings a tech savvy brain to the association and out-of-the-box marketing avenues for authors. l
  SARAH JONES made the decision in July to move on and pursue her MFA this Fall, she does plan to stay involved on a volunteer basis when she can. Sarah was wonderful asset to the PNWA team and will be missed. 

My Sincere Gratitude -- It is with mixed emotions and a heavy heart that I announce my departure from PNWA. Over the past nearly nine years I have been truly honored to be a part of this association and humbled by the generosity and talent of its members.

Thank you to everyone (members, volunteers, board of directors) for your support and gracious nature. I will always reflect upon this time with profound appreciation.

PNWA's Website Coordinator and Membership Manager MONICA MALVEAUX has been volunteering with the association since 2012, and joined the staff in April 2015. When not working, studying for her college courses, or writing her novel, she uses her time to fight dragons and monsters deep within her xbox. She would eventually like to pursue her MFA in Popular Fiction.
